More Than A Youth Choir
Your voice shapes the music
This is an inclusive choir for young people who want to explore music, singing, creativity and connection. We want the young people to genuinely be in the drivers seat. We hope this group will grow and evolve with its members. This is not just about learning songs, Its about discovering your voice, your musicality and where you want to fit in our choir community. Young people spend a lot of their time in formal education settings, and we want this to be a chance for them to be empowered to sing and create freely.
Youth led - Professionally supported
Sessions are facilitated by an experienced choir leader who is also a young persons psychotherapist. The whole team have a background in choirs, singing, vocal coaching professional performance, and have genuine enthusiasm for working with young people! Our assistants are a a professional singer and a speech and language therapist. We all have enhanced DBS clearance and have up to date safeguarding training. We have a clear safeguarding policy and risk assessments in place for parents and carers to access.
Fun Inclusive and welcoming
You don't need to have any musical experience at all to join us. Curiosity, passion and willingness to take part is enough! We really believe your singing and musicianship can be developed from all kinds of music and we will embed this in sessions, whatever genre you choose! We want to learn from you about the music you love.
We also want to help young people discover themselves, though creativity and self expression. We want you to be heard and respected in the group.
Sessions and Fees

Our sessions run weekly during term time.
To join the group is £70 per term.
We really want every young person who would like to sing with us to feel able to take part. If paying the full amount would be difficult for you or your family, a reduced rate is available for those on a low income or no wage.
