Andi Hopgood
BA(Hons), MMus (gsmd), MA, MBACP
Andi is a choir director, vocal coach and performer with many years of experience in music work with young people. She aims to create warm, welcoming choir spaces where children and young people can grow in confidence and enjoy finding their voice. She has delivered many youth and community music projects with charities and organisations, including the BBC, Britten Pears Arts, Singing For The Soul and Music Prescription CIC. Andi has also devised and led singing and songwriting projects across the county. She is the founder of Suffolk Soul Singers community choir and has a wealth of choral and choir leading experience.
She brings together music, songwriting, connection and well-being in practical and creative ways. Community building is central to her work and she believes choirs and group music making offer powerful opportunities for young people to feel seen, heard, supported and part of something bigger.
Alongside her music work Andi is also a child and adolescent psychotherapist, which informs her inclusive, well-being focused approach to leadership.
